This Sammy Davis Jr album is like striking Gold for me.
It is truly wonderful to find a selection of songs that are not constantly played, where they become trademark songs and those few songs define the artists range.
This is a rare and delightful LP.
I saw Sammy Davis Jr twice (by himself) and he was an exceptional singer and fun personality.
His voice resonated magnificently in person. The theater is in the round , Westbury NY, and I was relitively close to him.
He did have one of the best voices in recorded history.
This album , I am listenng to now, is softer and gentle than the usual deep and powerful Sammy I also love.
Thanks VINCE
