Frank Called These "Suicide Songs"
All reported broken links have been repaired. Thanks for the feedback.
Many fans agree that these two albums are the best representation of Sinatra's supreme interpretation for ballads. Both of these albums were arranged & scored by the inimitable Nelson Riddle, widely regarded as Sinatra's greatest collaborator (and a fellow New Jersey boy). In The Wee Small Hours was recorded shortly after Sinatra's divorce from Ava Gardner, and it was Nelson who remarked that "It took Ava to teach Frank how to sing a torch song."
Sinatra Sings For Only The Lonely is hands-down the darkest, bleakest album Sinatra has ever recorded (despite the silly album cover). Of all the revered albums Sinatra recorded with Nelson Riddle, this is easily the best one, and cited by Sinatra as his own favorite. This album is very much like the man himself, you can talk constantly about it yet never define it.

Hilarious Album Covers
Released long after he became Garth Vader, all you can say to yourself when you see this album cover is "Gay Fortune-telling Cowboy."
I should feel guilty about this because she's a Christian singer, but given how attractive she is, I won't. They should of thought of a better title.
Aw, to hell with individualism and personality! Let's sum up the musical tastes of an entire demographic with just 18 folk-pop songs! Besides, how can they produce an album as silly as this without a single tune by Melissa Etheridge or the Indigo Girls?
This is just damn sad, but funny at the same time. Your reaction might be "Ha-ha-ha! Damn, that's messed up!"
This is too damn funny. Ladies, rid yourself of your fascination with Carmen Electra. Some of you should not be strippers!
