Just discovered you-thanks so much for all the incredible music!!!!!!
A humble request: do you have Masekela by Hugh Masekela? and The Emancipation of Hugh Masekela? They appeared 1968 and 1966 respectively.
And: Black Blood's album that came out in the 80's? They had one hit that was big on dance floors here and in Europe called A.I.E a Mwana. They only had one album but it smoked.

Thanks again and cheers!

I go to the "link protector" continue to megaupload, put in the three-letter code, and hit the button, and nothing happens. Am I supposed to copy that file id down below and paste it? I know I'm doing something wrong, but what? Thanks for any light... great blog, btw. I've not had this problem elsewhere.

Could you please respond to those that have asked how to get around the link-protector problem you have in place preventing people from downloading via megaupload from your blog. Like Anonymous said May 02, 2008 2:53 PM & many others who have made the exact same comment on various comment sections of your blog, The irratating link-protection is preventing people from downloading from megaupload; entering the 3 letters on Megaupload does nothing. Please either respond with a solution or alternatively switch off the bloody link protector bollox. No one else uses link-protection because it causes more problems than it's worth. Thankyou.

Wonderful posts! Many thanks.

Time for some more muzak, Amigo.

link protector works fine, ignore the morons who complain, many thanks for the great posts!!!!!!

PLease don't ignore those of us who complain. The Megaupload links are NOT working for some of these titles, despite the comments of "Anonymous" on June 1. It probably has nothing to do with you, Hot Sauce, but w/ Megaupload (I've encountered the exact same problem at some other music blogs). Pass the complaints on to them. In the meantime, your offerings are fresh and different -- keep up the good work, and perhaps some day the links WILL work for the rest of us -- smitty123

Thank you, links are working fine. Pretty cool music, fun to listen to!
I'm still looking for a 'related' album: Electro Lounge: Electronic Excursions in Hi-Fi Stereo, it contains remixes of some of the tracks in this Lounge series. Vol. 2 I got, but this first one is hard to find.
